The AFM charges fees for non-recurring services related to CASP licence applications or CASP notification.CASP license
The fees are determined by the Ministry of Finance and published in the Regeling bekostiging financieel toezicht eenmalige handelingen.
The cost of processing a CASP licence application is €200 per hour, subject to a maximum of €100,000.
When processing the application, the AFM also conducts fit and proper testing in respect of the persons involved in the executive management of a CASP provider. The fee in this regard is €700 per person for the properness assessment. The standard fee for the suitability assessment (fitness assessment) is €2,900 per person. If an individual has previously been assessed by DNB in the context of an AMLD5 registration, a lower fee of €1,500 or €500 will be applied, depending on the difference in scope between the previously conducted DNB assessment and the new AFM assessment.
CASP notification
The fees are determined by the Ministry of Finance and published in the Regeling bekostiging financieel toezicht eenmalige handelingen.
The anticipated cost of processing a CASP notification is €200 per hour, subject to a maximum of €50,000.
