Crypto-asset service providers

The crypto register lists all crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) that have obtained an authorisation or notification from the AFM or the supervision authority of another EU Member State.

The CASP-notification is only available to undertakings who are already authorised to provide certain financial services. You can find more information on the CASP-notification and the eligible categories of authorised undertakings on this page..

Search

You can search for undertakings in the register by using <Ctrl>+<F>.

If an undertaking is listed in the register, it means the CASP has obtained an authorisation or notification from the AFM or the supervision authority of another EU Member State and is permitted to offer the specified services in the Netherlands.

If the undertaking is not listed in the register, it could mean that the undertaking is not obligated to obtain an authorisation or notification, that the application is still under assessment by the AFM or the supervision authority of another EU Member State, or that the undertaking is operating illegally by offering services without the required authorisation or notification. In case you suspect the latter, you can report this to the AFM.
