On 07th May, LeasePlan Corporation N.V. returned to the 144a/Reg S market with its second benchmark transaction off a recently established US $5 billion MTN program. $750million of 5 year senior unsecured notes were issued at US Treasuries +185bps. The strength of the market coupled with a very positive response to a Credit Update conducted several weeks prior encouraged LeasePlan to announce a $500million transaction at market open. A strong response saw a high quality book with 74 accounts grow rapidly to $1.8billion allowing LeasePlan to upsize the transaction to $750million having announced formal guidance with zero new issue premium at US Treasuries +185bps. 87% of the bonds went to the US with 82% coming from Fund Managers and 12% from Insurance.
