Getronics to provide extended IT support services across 26 countries.
Getronics announced today that it has been contracted by NXP to provide an extended range of support services. The three-year contract includes a broad spectrum of specialist services including application server management, network and storage management, desktop and printing services. Getronics will co-ordinate this activity through its well-established network of Global Service Centres.
NXP CIO, Louis Luijten, explains the decision, 'Our strategic goals for IT are to innovate in infrastructure and support processes while at the same time reducing cost. We selected Getronics because of their tight geographical and cultural fit with NXP and because of their skill and innovation in IT service.
