Amsterdam, October 28, 2014 - Gemalto (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO), the world leader in digital security, is delivering its Sealys electronic driving license to RDW, the public body responsible for driver licensing and vehicle registration in the Netherlands. The Gemalto driving license combines visual, physical and electronic security features that provide strong protection against fraud and forgery. In addition, a contactless microprocessor securely stores all the individual details printed on its tamper-proof polycarbonate body. It will enable the Dutch police force to verify the authenticity of the document with authorized NFC mobile readers.
