The Gemalto-enabled T-Box will allow device makers to offer fully-connected electric cars, allowing users to enjoy high-speed mobile connectivity for in-car infotainment, emergency roadside assistance, and advanced telematics services. Drivers can even use their smartphones for a secure keyless entry or ignition, for remote diagnostics, and autonomous parking.
