Today, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) of Delta Lloyd N.V. ('Delta Lloyd') approved the underwritten rights issue of € 650 million. At the EGM, a quorum of 48.03% of the shareholders was represented. Of votes cast, more than 77.5% were in favour of the rights issue resolution put forward. In combination with identified management actions and capital measures, Delta Lloyd believes that the rights issue will position its Group Solvency II standard formula ratio within its target range of 140-180%, reduce leverage and lead to an improved net cash and capital position in the Group holding company.
