Macintosh Retail Group N.V. (Macintosh) decided early in 2015 to focus on its Fashion Benelux business. The completed sale of Nea, Fashion UK and Kwantum together resulted in total net proceeds and total debt redemption of € 64 million but also in a lower group turnover and EBIT(DA). During the year, the Fashion Benelux transformation programmes that focus on format development, cross-channel innovation and operational excellence (costs and margin) have been kicked-off and demonstrate initial results.
