Zaandam, the Netherlands, February 3, 2014 - Ahold has repurchased 1,803,253 Ahold common shares in the period from January 27, 2014 up to and including January 31, 2014.The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 12.3775 per share for a total consideration of € 22.32 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013 as increased by € 1.5 billion to a total amount of € 2 billion announced on June 4, 2013.
