Heijmans is acquiring the Brinck Group BV in Zeewolde as a means of strengthening its market position in supplying, installing, servicing and maintaining smart gas, electricity, water and heat meters. The Brinck Group, one of whose entities was founded in 1886, serves clients such as Vitens and Liander, and employs approximately 95 persons. The activities of the Brinck Group supplement and expand the activities of the Cable & Pipeline Systems department of Heijmans Civil Engineering.
General Manager Gert Hagendoorn of the Brinck Group: 'Pooling strengths with Heijmans enables us to continue to innovate and grow. In addition, we will be conquering new markets in collaboration with Heijmans. Furthermore, we will be gaining greater clout this way. Heijmans and Brinck complement each other.'
