Zaandam, the Netherlands, November 11, 2013 - Ahold has repurchased 2,225,000 Ahold common shares in the period from November 4, 2013 up to and including November 8, 2013. The shares were repurchased at an average price of €14.0577 per share for a total consideration of €31.28 million. These repurchases were made as part of the €500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013 as increased by € 1.5 billion to a total amount of €2 billion announced on June 4, 2013.
