Focus moves from restructuring to realising profitable growth
De Bilt, 21 January 2013 - Grontmij N.V., a listed consulting & engineering company with strong European presence, today announces the next step in its 'Back on Track' strategy for the period up to 2015. The strategy as announced last year is based on two pillars: restructuring and realising profitable growth. In 2012, the emphasis has been on restructuring. Grontmij has successfully completed a substantial part of the restructuring plan, working according to schedule and on time. From 2013 onwards the main focus will be on realising profitable growth, the second pillar of the 'Back on Track' strategy. The way forward for Grontmij is announced today in more detail, including the intended divestment of the French Monitoring & Testing (M&T) business (see separate press release published on 21 January 2013). The financial goals of the 'Back on Track' strategy are reconfirmed.
