Almere, Netherlands, 14 December 2012 – LeasePlan Corporation N.V., the world’s leading fleet and vehicle management company, formally announced the final results of its tender offer for EUR 1.5 billion May 2014 government guaranteed bonds.
The total tendered amount was EUR 827.8 million (55.2%), allowing LeasePlan to comfortably reach its ultimate targeted buyback amount of EUR 500 million. The success of LeasePlan's various funding franchises during the course of 2012 has put the company on a very strong liquidity footing and has allowed LeasePlan to put excess cash to good use to pay down government guaranteed funding whilst smoothing out the redemption profile of its debt.
