Amsterdam, 2 October 2012 (Regulated Information) --- AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. ("AMG", EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: "AMG") announces that the size of AMG's Management Board will be reduced from four Members to three Members, consisting of Dr. Heinz Schimmelbusch, Chairman of the Management Board and CEO, Mr. Eric Jackson, COO and President of the Advanced Materials Division, and Mr. Bill Levy, CFO. The fourth Member, Dr. Reinhard Walter, has been suspended as Member of the Management Board of AMG and of ALD Vacuum Technologies GmbH, an AMG subsidiary, with effect from today, pending discussions on his retirement.
