Philips Electronics (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHI) today announced the signing of a major deal with Medipol University Hospital in Turkey, which will see advanced Philips solutions installed in its new 500-bed hospital in Istanbul, Bagcilar. The deal, worth approximately EUR13 million, is the biggest deal of its kind to-date for any single hospital in Turkey.
