Bunnik, 7 februari 2012 – BAM International bv, de werkmaatschappij van Koninklijke BAM Groep die buiten Europa bouwprojecten uitvoert, heeft opdracht ontvangen (letter of intent) voor ontwerp en bouw van het overslagplatform voor het Ichthys LNG-project bij Darwin, Noord-Australië, voor JGC-KBR-Chiyoda (JKC) joint venture. BAM voert de werkzaamheden uit in combinatie met het Australische ingenieurs- en bouwbedrijf Clough Ltd. De contractwaarde bedraagt circa € 110 miljoen (circa AUD 140 miljoen), waarvan de helft voor BAM.
