Heijmans and the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management have completed the planning for work to commence on the widening of the A2 motorway between 's-Hertogenbosch and Eindhoven. The A2 will be converted from 2 to 3 lanes in both directions over a distance of approximately 27 km. This project forms part of the Priority Package E that Heijmans already acquired at the end of 2009. The contract is valued at over € 100 million. The definitive realization is subject to the ruling of the Netherlands Council of State that will issue its decision in the spring of 2012.
