Amsterdam, the Netherlands, November 21, 2011 - Ahold has repurchased 2,495,269 Ahold common shares in the period from November 14, 2011 up to and including November 18, 2011. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 9.4183 per share for a total consideration of € 23.50 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 1 billion share buyback program announced on March 3, 2011.
