's-Hertogenbosch - To meet the increasing demand for electric charging outlets, Amsterdam initiated a tendering procedure in 2010 for 1,000 public charging outlets. The combination Nuon/Heijmans, together with Essent, was awarded the contract for installing the charging posts. The contract spans a period of three years, including the supply of green power. Both parties can enter the market at the same time for the purpose of offering charging services to electric car users.
