Van Lanschot has today issued senior unsecured bonds for an amount of € 500 million. The bonds have a term of three years, maturing on 22 April 2014, and a coupon of 4.625%. On the back of significant market interest, the bonds were successfully placed with a broad group of European institutional investors. The transaction was oversubscribed within a short space of time.
This issue, which forms part of Van Lanschot's normal funding activities, further improves the diversification of the bank's funding mix.
