Amsterdam, the Netherlands, December 27, 2010 - Ahold has repurchased 943,816 Ahold common shares in the period from December, 20, 2010 up to and including December 24, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 9.7673 per share for a total consideration of € 9.22 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
