Amsterdam, the Netherlands, November 8, 2010 - Ahold has repurchased 1,884,934 Ahold common shares in the period from November, 1, 2010 up to and including November, 5, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of EUR 9.8391 per share for a total consideration of EUR 18.55 million. These repurchases were made as part of the EUR 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
