Amsterdam, the Netherlands, September 27 2010 - Ahold has repurchased 1,132,690 Ahold common shares in the period from September, 20, 2010 up to and including September, 24, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 10.0801 per share for a total consideration of € 11.42 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
