Amsterdam, the Netherlands, September 13 2010 - Ahold has repurchased 615,005 Ahold common shares in the period from September, 6, 2010 up to and including September, 10, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 9.8956 per share for a total consideration of € 6.09 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
