Amsterdam, the Netherlands, July 12, 2010 - Ahold has repurchased 646,046 Ahold common shares in the period from July 5, 2010 up to and including July, 9, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 10.0408 per share for a total consideration of € 6.49 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
