Amsterdam, the Netherlands, June 21, 2010 - Ahold has repurchased 481,481 Ahold common shares in the period from June, 14, 2010 up to and including June, 18, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 10.5322 per share for a total consideration of € 5.07 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
