Amsterdam, the Netherlands - Ahold has repurchased 1,791,868 Ahold common shares in the period from April, 26, 2010 up to and including April, 30, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 10.3077 per share for a total consideration of € 18.47 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
