Guernsey. 30 September 2009 - Eurocastle Investment Limited
(Frankfurt Stock Exchange: EUI1 and Euronext Amsterdam: ECT) today
announced that it had secured a short term extension to a
subsidiary's acquisition facility that was due to mature on 30
September 2009. Eurocastle Investment Limited has a guarantee
obligation limited to \x8030 million in respect of such facility. More
detail on this facility can be found in Eurocastle's recently
published semi-annual results announcement. Eurocastle continues to
be in negotiations with the lender and is working toward a
comprehensive restructuring of this facility.
