Gouda, The Netherlands – Imtech N.V. (technical services provider in Europe) announces that it has received an order from the German energy group RWE for planning and implementing a large part of the technical infrastructure in and around a new conventional coal-fired power plant to be built in Hamm in Germany. The order represents a total value of 31 million euro and means a breakthrough for Imtech in the market of large power plants (800 MW). A further order of RWE of about 32.5 million euro for a coal-fired power plant in Eemshaven in the Netherlands is expected at the beginning of 2009.
