Zeewolde, The Netherlands, 17 April 2008 – Spyker Cars N.V., manufacturer of exclusive premium sports cars, announces today at the General Meeting of Shareholders that Richard Borsboom (41), Chief Business Development Officer, resigns from the Management Board as per June 1st. The Company also announces the resignation of Hessel Lindenbergh (64) as Chairman of the Supervisory Board as per today. Vladimir Antonov (32) of Snoras Bank of Vilnius, Lithuania, will succeed Mr Lindenbergh.
Hessel Lindenbergh, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, stated: “I take the opportunity to thank Richard cordially for his relentless support and tenacity in his function as Chief Financial Officer and consequently as Chief Business Development Officer the past two years. His involvement in the Company has been intense over the past two years and for that we are very grateful."
In addition, Victor Muller, CEO, said: "Working with Richard was a great privilege. His loyalty to the company, its workforce and his colleagues in the Board was exemplary. Hessel joined us as from the day we went public in 2004 and chaired the Supervisory Board with great dedication and commitment. His knowledge and expertise pulled us through and we are infinitely grateful for that. I welcome Vladimir Antonov as our new Chairman and look forward to many years of fruitful cooperation.”
