Amsterdam, 14 January 2008 - Further to the share buyback program announced on 30 July 2007, the completion of a first euro 200 million tranche on 4 January 2008, and a second euro 100 million tranche announced on 7 January 2008, TNT N.V. announces that:
• on 7 January 2008, it purchased 275,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 26.7859 per share,
• on 8 January 2008, it purchased 80,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 26.6448 per share,
• on 9 January 2008, it purchased 27,815 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 25.7644 per share,
• on 10 January 2008, it purchased 75,429 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 25.9185 per share,
• on 11 January 2008, it purchased 70,250 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 26.0425 per share,
• during the period from 7 January 2008 until and including 11 January 2008, it purchased 528,494 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 26.4882 per share, and
• the total amount of the share buyback from 7 January 2008 until and including 11 January 2008 therefore amounts to 14.00% of the euro 100 million tranche.
It is TNT's intention to cancel the repurchased shares.
