Halifax, Nova Scotia, January 26, 2007 (TSX: HII.A & HII.B and AEX:HII ) – Homburg Invest Inc. announced today that it has entered into an agreement to purchase approximately 39 acres of land in Calgary, Alberta. The purchase price of $15,350,000 will be satisfied by cash and financing of approximately $12,650,000 and the issue of 350,000 Class A Subordinates Voting shares of Homburg Invest Inc. at approximately $6.71 per share for a total of $2,350,000. The issue of the shares is subject of the approval of Toronto Stock Exchange. The transaction is expected to close on or about February 28, 2007.
