AP Alternative Assets, L.P. (Euronext Amsterdam: AAA) announced today that Barry Giarraputo will serve as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Giarraputo joined Apollo in October 2006 and has over 21 years of accounting and auditing experience serving a number of companies in the financial services industry. He has spent the last 9 years at Bear, Stearns & Co, Inc. in a variety of roles, most recently as a Senior Managing Director with oversight of a financial accounting group composed of more than 200 individuals. Prior to his experience at Bear Stearns, Mr. Giarraputo was with the accounting and auditing firm of PriceWaterhouse, LLC.
