Integration & GUI Headaches’
ATLANTA – 18 September 2006 – Seagull Software (AEX: SEAGULL), a leading provider of high-performance software solutions that transform legacy business applications into service-oriented architecture (SOA) assets, will exhibit and present during the HP Technology Forum 2006 held in Houston TX, September 17 - 22 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Greg Mummah, Product Manager at Seagull Software will speak on Tuesday, September 19 at 3:30 during the Vendor Theater presentations. His session entitled, ‘The Cure for VT Application Integration & GUI Headaches’ will discuss how to overcome some of the limitations of valuable, domain-rich OpenVMS applications that have VT terminal interfaces. The presentation identifies two common headaches: Green-screen user interfaces and SOA integration. LegaSuite® from Seagull Software is prescribed as the definitive cure. By exposing VT processes as SOA Web services for integration, and replacing green screens with a Web or Windows GUI, headaches quickly subside. No changes are required to the host application and little or no coding.
