Titel Ralph Hamers appointed Head of Wholesale Banking Network

Bericht Ralph Hamers (40) has been appointed as Head of Wholesale Banking Network and a member of the Wholesale Banking Management Team with effect from 1 January 2007. Hamers is currently head of ING Bank in the Netherlands and co-chair of the Board of ING Retail Netherlands. In his new position Hamers will report to Eric Boyer, member of the Executive Board responsible for Wholesale Banking. Ralph Hamers will succeed David Duffy who has decided to pursue a career opportunity outside ING. Until Ralph Hamers takes up his new position, Jan Zegering Hadders, Head of Wholesale Banking Clients will assume the responsibilities as Head Wholesale Banking Network. Nick Jue (41), who currently co-chairs the Board of ING Retail Netherlands with Ralph Hamers, will become sole Chairman as of 1 January 2007 reporting to Eli Leenaars, member of the Executive Board responsible for Retail Banking. As a consequence Nick Jue will assume responsibility for Postbank, ING Bank and RVS in the Netherlands. Nick Jue is also a member of the Management Board of ING Netherlands. A successor to Ralph Hamers as Head of ING Bank will be announced in due course.
